Shot of the Day #132: A Warning...

I got to my office this morning, greeted by a cryptic message: A small broom on my seat. I don't quite know how to crack the code on this one; Is someone in cleaning saying I need to tend to my Anal Dander? Is this the housekeeping equivalent to a severed Horses' head in my bed, a warning that I gotta stop throwing my lunch containers to the side of my desk, not in the waste basket? Aren't brooms made (or used to be made) with Horse hair?!?! Not sure, but it did give me pause...and I made sure all my trash was IN the bin today.

FINALLY watched TAKEN tonight. I actually cold-bought it, hoping that all the good word I heard on the film, multiplied with the faith I have in Luc Besson and Liam Neeson to make some Grade-A B Dramaction, and it was a very worthy investment. Great acting, great action...its the movie LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD wanted to be and the kind of character Indiana Jones needed to evolve into in the 4th film. Jesus...did INDY 4 really come out a YEAR AGO? Time flies....when you have a kid! That's the main reason we didn't see TAKEN in theaters, that it came out right when Remy was born. Guess I better get used to seeing films at home in the future. However, isn't that where we normally watch most media anyway these days? Theatrical is such a finite time in the lifespan of a movie, and it will ultimately find or lose its audience on the smaller screen. I just hope seeing movies on the silver one doesn't go the way of the Dodo...at least for my Son's sake.
