Shot of the day #142: The Lonely Squid

As I was walking to my office today, I noticed a familiar face staring back at me with big Googily Moogily eyes. Seems that the OtakuKraken Squid that accompanied us to Tokyo back in 2005 found it's way to an empty workstation near me, looking sad and under-used. The Purple Squid was produced for the Tokyo Game Show Special we did a few years back at G4, when I was just a DP there, and it was a grand but exhausting time. I believe this day we clocked in 22 hours straight, then went for Sushi at 6am, complimented by Squid Ice Cream. I didn't stutter.

Now the sorely neglected creature sits unnoticed in the office, praying for another chance in the limelight. Poor guy. Remy's coming into the office to say hi today, i wonder what his reaction will be like...
