Shot of the Day #223: Eatin' Old School

Had a really nice time geeking out over food and drink with two of the industry's brightest musical minds at the Edendale Grill in Silverlake. I'd tell you who they were, but then that would spoil the surprise....

Great atmosphere (and the food ain't bad neithuh), and as we walked out a photo of Fatty Arbuckle stopped me in my tracks, an then led to to investigate the history of the eatery, which was around since the 20's and fed the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Gloria Swanson and many other names of Hollywood yesteryear. FUnny how places like this can withstand the test of time in such a liquid business. Guess people come and go over the years in this town, but everyone's gotta eat, right? Except Lindsay Lohan of course.

I might not like Silverlake (only because I haven't been here much), but this place is one to note.
