Walking to a midnight show of Gens' THE DIVIDE (Cool, brutal Post-Apocalyptic thriller), I passed a video store around the corner from the NuArt and saw this slightly proud sign hanging in the window. Made me a little sad to think this format, one I watched MANY a Friday The 13th film (on this day/night in fact) on, is going the way of 8-track and there is a unique charm to the lo-fi feel. Then I walked around the block and watched a midnight movie...on a Blu Ray. Go figure.
