KOB Shot of the Day #55: Zahn's Poppin' Cherries...

Shot with iPhone, click to enlarge.

HUGE effects day; lots of stunts, gore, monsters, warring extras, severed name it, we probably had it in shot. One friendly face amongst the stress and strife was Sir Steve, who came in on a day off just to hang out and pass out a batch of freshly picked cherries he got today, which he happily distributed amongst the crew and huge cast of LARPers with a big grin on his face (when he wasn't taking pictures of things we dare not show off now, tee hee). Not only were the cherries delicious (and Im NOT a fan) but it was such a nice gesture, even on an off day, to see Steve out there with us, supporting us all the way. The whole team has been behind us, even in our darkest moments, always being encouraging, serving up some great ideasand rolling with the punches. This was, pardon the pun, just a cherry on the top of the night. Sorry, I had to.

A classy fella, to the end. I bow in your honor, Sir.

We were all so happy to see him out there in the middle of the night doing this! You all have really made us larper extras feel like part of the family. Thank you so much for the opportunity to be in this production with you all. I have completed the 4 days of shooting that I could and wish I could have done much more :( I was very happy that you all liked mine and Kayla's costumes that I made. I was the green archer with the leather hat with feathers and Kayla was the one in the green short skirt and green top :)

Once again, thank you ALL for giving us such a wonderful opportunity at something we have never done, and will never forget! I cant wait to see this when its done!

Steve is so nice! He is one of the coolest people I've ever met. It's amazing how he can be so sincere and funny. A lot of us (I think all of us actually) really appreciate how kind he (and the rest of the cast and crew) have been so kind and down to earth with us. It means a lot.

Thanks so much for coming on your day off (and at that time of night/day) to give cherries to us dusty and dirty extras haha!

Kayla the green elfy archer person.

Sir Steve has been doing a great job on Treme. Totally charismatic dude. It doesn't surprise me that he seems to be such a nice guy in real life.

You are capturing plenty of the off screen hijinks for the DVD special features, right? ^_^
